2026 candidate endorsement information

ENDORSEMENT CRITERIA

Color PAC uses the following criteria to determine an endorsement with Oregon Futures Lab:

  • Lived experience as a Black, Indigenous, or other Person of Color - with a focus on candidates with intersectional lived experience;

  • Candidates with clear priorities to address core issues concerning Oregon’s BIPOC communities;

  • Candidates who have the support of a BIPOC-led community organization building power for BIPOC communities in Oregon;

  • Candidates who are committed to the values of Color PAC;

  • Candidates committed to governing effectively and collaboratively.

2026 ENDORSEMENT PROCESS

Endorsements will be made on a rolling basis. The priority deadline for OFL and Color PAC's Joint Endorsement is end of day August 19th. Please email naomi@colorpac.org with any questions. This year, in service of our goal of building a bench of rising leaders, OFL and Color PAC will be endorsing only in races that are down-ballot (below statewide and state legislative offices).
